The Learning Program Specialist is responsible for leading the delivery and implementation of Learning projects with partnership with the Learning Center of Expertise (COE) and with collaboration with the business lines internal functional teams and/or external vendors. The role ensures that projects are executed and delivered according to the scope timeline and objectives outlined by the business line and the Learning COE and in accordance with banks policies and procedures. The Program Specialist may also support the Learning Program Managers in delivery and implementation of more complex learning programs.
Is this role right for you In this role you will:
Ensure project objectives scope and deliverables are clearly identified at project initiation.
Develop project plans leveraging templates and procedures to ensure project is delivered according to project management practices
Conduct project kick-off status meetings and other ad-hoc project meetings.
Develop and maintain project RAID logs to ensure risks issues decisions and actions are identified and followed-up on to avoid impact to successful delivery of projects.
Create and distribute regular project status reports to stakeholders.
Champion a customer focused culture to deepen relationships with all partners stakeholders and project team members.
Consistently develop knowledge and understanding of the Banks learning platforms and technologies to effectively manage project deliverables and timelines.
Be accountable for the implementation of learning programs with low to medium complexities and facilitating the learning program design communications and evaluation plan and holds intake sessions to determine execution plans.
Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and facilitate meetings and discussions to ensure alignment across internal and external teams.
Act as a central point of contact for all project related communication and works closely with the Learning COE to address and remove obstacles.
Provide leadership and guidance to learning program implementation teams ensuring alignment with established guidelines and standards.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed Wed love to work with you if you have:
Post-secondary Degree in Human Resources or Business or related field
Strong project management skills with a minimum of 1 year experience in project management preferably in learning and development
Experience working with project management information systems
Deep understanding and knowledge of Bank policies and procedures
Strong knowledge of organizational structure and internal dynamics
Strong understanding of global learning programs policies processes and operations
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple priorities
PMP or other Project Management designation is an asset
Certification in adult education is an asset
Spanish fluency is required for this role
