About the Role

Were looking for an experienced Information Security Engineer to join our Technology this role youll be responsible for implementing maintaining and optimising security controls across on-premises and cloud environments to safeguard our systems and data. Youll play a key part in operational security engineering ensuring compliance with security standards and supporting incident response and monitoring.

What Youll Do

• Deploy and manage security tools and technologies including Microsoft E5 security stack Azure Sentinel Defender Suite Darktrace and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Maintain and optimise security configurations for Microsoft and Linux servers (on-prem and Azure).
• Support vulnerability management and remediation activities across infrastructure and applications.
• Assist with identity and access management (IDAM) including privileged access controls.
• Collaborate with IT Operations and the Head of Information Security to ensure compliance with frameworks such as NIST and Essential 8.
• Document and report security incidents configurations and improvements for audit and governance purposes.

About You

Youre a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical background and a passion for cybersecurity. You thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy working collaboratively to embed security into daily operations.

What Youll Bring

• CISSP and Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years experience in IT system administration.
• At least 1 year in an information security role.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls and network security (Palo Alto preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux environments including Microsoft Azure.
