Job Summary

  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies procedures and plans for large infrastructure projects. 
  • Lead the safety team to ensure effective implementation of safety measures across all project sites. 
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters ensuring alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international safety standards such as OSHA NEBOSH and IS codes. 
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks. 
  • Maintain proper documentation of safety records incident reports and compliance checklists.
  • Conduct detailed risk assessments for all construction activities identifying potential hazards and implementing mitigation strategies. 
  • Monitor high-risk activities such as working at heights heavy equipment operations and confined spaces to ensure adherence to safety protocols. 
  • Investigate accidents and incidents identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Develop and conduct safety training programs for workers supervisors and contractors. 
  • Organize toolbox talks safety drills and awareness campaigns to promote a culture of safety on-site. 
  • Ensure all personnel are aware of emergency response procedures and evacuation plans.

 

  • Work closely with project managers engineers and contractors to integrate safety measures into construction activities. 

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Safety Management or a related field (mandatory). 
  • Masters degree in Safety Management or Construction Management (preferred).

Additional Information :

  • Certification in safety management (e.g. NEBOSH OSHA IOSH or equivalent). 
  • Experience in managing safety for live environments such as operational airports or malls. 
  • Strong leadership problem-solving and decision-making skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a culture of safety.
