We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner with current suitability at the Proficient or Advanced level to join our team and provide high-quality positive behaviour support services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting NDIS participants along with their families and/or carers to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
- Evaluating developing and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support space.
- Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising a positive behaviour support framework and with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices in the home and community.
- Ensuring individual plans reflect our NDIS participants goals passions and strengths.
- Building the knowledge capacity and strengths of those who support participants in their lives - family carers friends etc.
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners.
Qualifications :
About you
- Current suitability at the Proficient or Advanced level as a Behaviour Support Practitioner is essential
- Considerable experience providing support to people with behaviours of concern (professionally and/or personally) is essential
- Flawless report writing skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and interpersonal skills
- Valid drivers licence access to a reliable motor vehicle
