Job Description

• The Information Assurance Engineer III will perform functions as an Information System Security Manager and provide technical and programmatic IA support for network and information security systems.

• Design develop and implement security requirements.
• Prepare documentation from information obtained using accepted guidelines (e.g. eMASS POAM RMF etc.).
• Prepare Security Test and Evaluation plans and provide C&A support.
• Analyze policies and procedures against established laws and regulations and provide recommendations for closing gaps.
• Develop and complete system security and contingency plans.
• Develop test and integrate security tools.
• Conduct security program audits and develop solutions to lessen identified risks. Evaluate develop and enhance security requirements policies and tools.
• Perform vulnerability assessments including development of risk mitigation strategies.
• Mentor mid-level and junior staff.
  
  Qualifications:
• Required Certs: DoD 8570 IAT Level II preferred CASP
• Expertise with designing developing implementing and enforcing security requirements.
  Developing security plans and contingency plans.
• Familiar with developing testing and integrating security tools as well as configuring and installing
• Skilled in conducting security audits and developing mitigations to identify risks. Has conducted vulnerability assessments.
• Knows eMASS Has monitored controls.

Normal Office Environment. Requires Sitting Standing Near Acuity Speaking with colleagues and customers Listening Sight Use of hands/fingers.
