Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco networking and Cisco phone systems. This role will focus on leading the migration of our existing on-premises phone system to a cloud-based solution supporting approximately 700 users across 3-4 enterprise sites. The ideal candidate will bring enterprise-level experience and a proven ability to manage complex network and telephony environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design implement and support Cisco-based networking infrastructure across multiple sites.
Lead the migration of the current on-premises phone system to a cloud-based platform.
Ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption for 700 users during the transition.
Monitor troubleshoot and optimize network and telephony performance.
Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to align network solutions with business needs.
Document processes configurations and best practices for ongoing support.
Provide technical guidance and support to end-users and junior IT staff.

Required Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies (routers switches firewalls).
Strong knowledge of Cisco phone systems and VoIP technologies.
Proven track record in enterprise-scale environments with multiple sites and large user bases.
Experience in cloud migration projects particularly telephony systems.
Excellent troubleshooting problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred (Not Required)

Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA CCNP or equivalent).
Experience with cloud telephony providers or unified communications platforms.
