This role involves working with model/general public testing of NikeSKIMS products. The candidate must be sensitive to participant comfort and provide a respectful inclusive testing environment.
Summary
WHQ Beaverton on-site schedule 4:1
May be some travel to LA NikeHQ / Skims locations
Max bill rate will be $92/hr for this role
High possibility this role may convert to FTE (candidate would need to apply through the process)
Experience in consumer testing is key; manager is open to other industries with customer-facing product testing (automotive food general product testing)
Apparel testing is a bonus but not required
Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative data analysis
Strong communication skills required due to collaboration with many Nike stakeholders and SKIMS teams

A thoughtful detail-oriented individual to lead testing initiatives for NikeSKIMS intimate and body-conscious apparel in a fast-paced collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert in consumer research and product performance testing with experience managing body-conscious discussions strong influencing skills exceptional communication and organizational abilities and the initiative to identify and implement improvements alongside leadership.
Who You Will Work With
Apparel Product Testing Team
Cross-functional Apparel teams including Design Product Merchandising Technical Development Materials Risk Engineering and Apparel Labs
Female Athletes* to capture athlete-led insights and data-driven decisions
What You Will Work On
Analyze quantitative and qualitative data
Capture athlete* and product feedback
Deliver clear written reports and presentations to product creation and leadership teams
Execute and evolve product testing practices
Plan and execute multi-part tests
Recruit and build relationships with target athletes*
Develop broader testing strategies
Facilitate body-conscious product evaluations with discretion respect and inclusivity
Requirements
What You Bring
Thought leadership in apparel testing and product creation
Responsibility for evolving athlete* testing methodologies and external relationships
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education experience or training
6 years experience in apparel creation product testing consumer research or apparel performance
Advanced understanding of fit fabric performance and wear testing methodologies
Strong communication and active listening skills
Ability to facilitate conversations around body perception comfort and wear experience of female athlete*
Proven ethical and professional standards in partially clothed testing environments
Competency in qualitative and quantitative test design data collection and analysis
Ability to lead cross-functional workstreams
Knowledge of psychometrics sensory-perception behavioral sciences or motor learning (plus)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent tools
Experience with one or more: SPSS MESH01 Qualtrics SigmaPlot Airtable Smartsheets Dscout EyeQuestion
Passion for sport (plus)
Ability to travel up to 20-30% per year
