About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to join a high-performing R&D team in this role you will architect develop and optimise embedded firmware for advanced imaging devices and connected ecosystems. You will collaborate closely with hardware software and product teams to deliver robust scalable solutions that meet stringent performance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement embedded firmware for ARM-based platforms.
- Work with RTOS/Linux environments and integrate complex subsystems.
- Optimise performance for real-time video audio and wireless connectivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development and manufacturing stages.
The Successful Candidate
To excel in this role you will bring:
- 8 years experience in embedded firmware development.
- Strong proficiency in C/C and familiarity with scripting languages (Python Shell).
- Hands-on experience with ARM architectures RTOS/Linux and peripheral interfaces (SPI I2C UART).
- Knowledge of multimedia subsystems (video/audio pipelines) and wireless protocols (Bluetooth Wi-Fi).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
