Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate creation of Functional Competencies (Knowledge Skills) for businesses levels and roles
- Facilitate Development of Tools and methods to assess functional competencies
- Conduct Training & Refresher for functional managers to conduct functional assessment using existing tools/ methods
- Ensure appropriate Functional Assessment is conducted and used during external hiring and internal career progression
- Facilitate Development of Behavioural competencies with indicative behaviours and proficiency levels - org. level-wise function-wise
- Facilitate development of relevant tools/ methods for assessing cognitive & behavioural competencies
- Facilitate or Conduct Training & Refresher for assessors
- Conduct/Ensure Behavioural assessment process is conducted for external hiring internal career progression and succession planning
- Develop an internal assessment team for conducting functional and behavioural assessment processes for external hiring and internal career progression
- Provide capability insights to business & Talent Mgmt. team for internal talent movements
- Create a repository of various standard and customised tools for capability assessment for various purposes including external hiring internal career progression and talent movements
- Identify & manage relationships with key vendors for assessment processes
- Manage Database of Assessment reports and scores for key employees that could be used in various kinds of decision-making regarding talent
- Maintain the right balance between accuracy costs and scalability of capability Assessment processes at PIL
Key Candidate Specs
• Post Graduate in Management Psychology OD
• 15 plus yrs of experience out of which 2-5 yrs in capability assessment
• Worked in a Consulting firm or Internal HR of a professional organisation with sound capability assessment practices
• High Learning Orientation
• High Drive to achieve
• Good Critical Reasoning
• Patience (not critical good to have)
