JOB SUMMARY

TheShipping and Receiving Associateis responsible forthe processing of all daily shippingand packingactivities ensuringtimelydeliveryto our customers.

REPORTING TO

WarehouseSupervisor

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Followshipping priorities work assignments and shipping methods required to meet shipping/receiving schedulesand average shipmentgoalof 40-45per dayutilizingknowledge of shipping procedures routes and rates.

Assist Warehouse Supervisor with incoming and outgoing shipping daily activities to ensure accuracy completeness and condition of shipments.

Assistprepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule and customer specifications (load pack wrap label ship).

Receivesreviewsunpacksinspectsand stores incomingrework orders from suppliers and/orcustomersreturns.

UsesERPsystemto verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and ordersand responsible for paperwork internal distribution product packing slips for shipments and/or labels.

Assist Shipping and Receiving Associate III withinformation and countsweighsormeasuresitems of outgoing shipmentsand toassistverifyingagainst bills of lading invoices orders or other records.

Follow quality standards andcomply withprocedures rules and regulations.

Keep a clean and safe working environment andoptimizespaceutilization.

âSKILLS and ABILITIES

Excellentcommunicationskills

Ability tomultitask in afastpaceenvironment.

Excellent knowledge ofMS Officeand ERP Systems. Visio System preferred.

âEDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma / GED

1-3yearsof experienceonwarehouse manufacturingin an automated (MRP/ERP) environment.

Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping software.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to stand stoop and lift up to 50 lbs. While performing the duties of the job the employee is regularly required to stand for periods of time walk and reach with hands and arms.
