Job Summary
We are hiring a Registered Nurse I for one of our clients in Totowa NJ.
Job Description:
Under Supervision: Assesses community health needs provides education and care implements prevention programs and collaborates with other healthcare professionals to improve population health outcomes such as Immunization auditing in schools and any other public health services.
- Responds to health questions from individuals and/or families during home visits in clinics or schools or while giving health demonstrations and lectures to community groups to educate the public on preventive health measures.
- Implements action to curtail the spread of communicable disease by instructing high-risk individuals or groups in proper control measures.
- Measure patients temperature blood pressure pulse height and weight to record vital signs and growth.
- Maintains medical records and files.
Skills required:
- Communication skills able to work with adults and children strong clinical skills case management
- Medical Equipment for Clinic laptop desk computer
- Office Software CDRSS NJIIS
Knowledge skills education and/or experience:
- BSN RN
- Nursing License Copy of bachelor s degree or associate degree
Work hours:
- Lunch period (Unpaid):1 hour
- What will be CLP s work hours: 21 hours or fewer hours
Additional Information:
- Dress Code: Nursing attire no jeans
