Job Summary
Support domicile head and client service teams in provision of captive and insurance company management and consulting services to meet the needs of clients and prospects. Support financial management of WTW Management companies in the region. Responsible for producing accurate and pertinent information on a timely basis to enable MD to make informed decisions.
Principal Accountabilities
Individual contributor acting as referral point on technical issues related to provision of captive management and insurer services. The role of captive manager has several dimensions across which the senior account director must perform and provide coordination:
Technical Insurance
Administer collate negotiate and review policy documentation
Claims administration including reporting and recording
Liaison with insurance and reinsurance brokers as required
Assist with underwriting decisions in conjunction with Account Director including renewals and new business
Monitoring of risk gap
Obtaining appropriate regulatory approval of changes to business plan
Obtaining board approval for underwriting decisions
Accounting for insurance premiums
Monitor and report on capital and liquidity requirements
Financial
Ensure the production of management accounts statutory accounts and information budgets cashflow statements and supplementary information as required and liaising with auditors where necessary
Assist with the adoption of appropriate accounting practices and compliance thereto
Manage cash requirements of the companies
Liaise with and monitor investment managers in respect of invested funds
Company Administration
Ensure the production of management accounts statutory accounts and information budgets cashflow statements and supplementary information as required and liaising with auditors where necessary

Liaise with and monitor investment managers in respect of invested funds
Maintain contact with all directors and advise them of developments
Co-ordinate board meetings and ensure timely production of board packs
Ensure timely production of minutes and Action matters arising
Ensure relevant company secretarial functions are performed in a timely manner including:
Statutory returns
Tax return
AGM if required
Maintain the compliance log
Update Corporate Governance documentation
General
Maintain ongoing relationships with clients
Establish good relationship with key figures and stakeholders
To maintain an appropriate level of understanding and knowledge of clients businesses business models plans and strategy
Ensure you are fully updated and understand all Anti Money Laundering (AML) procedures. Give consideration to potential anti-money laundering reporting any suspicious activities to the AML Officer.
To carry out any reasonable request asked by the Managing Director
Compliance with local corporate governance and regulatory requirements the Willis Towers Watson Clients Bill of Rights and the Willis Towers Watson Excellence Model
Provide support and training to the team where required
Budgetary and risk management responsibilities:
Assist MD in budget preparation and risk management for WTW Management as required Principal Duties/Responsibilities
Provide senior support to team members responsible for the accounting finance insurance and compliance operations of WTW Management and its portfolio of captive insurance clients reporting to the Managing Director.
Communications and Relationships
Internal:
Supports MD as required by acting as senior referral for activities of accounting team members.
External:
Interaction with clients regulators and external service providers as required. Works as part of the Client Service Team reporting to the MD

Bachelors degree in accountancy financeInsuranceor related field
Professional certification (e.g. CA ACCA) preferred.
Proven experience in client account management or financial accounting roles in captive insurance
Strong understanding of insurance accounting principles and regulations
Strong Client Service and interpersonal skills; comfortable dealing directly with clients
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Proficiency in Microsoft office
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Attentive to details and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
Pro-active and positive attitude
Knowledge of and experience with international insurance programs
Preferably can read and write Chinese
