Job Profile Summary

PHI is building a cloud-native modular scalable and secure health insurance platform hosted onGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP). TheTech Infra Leadwill be responsible for designing provisioning and managing the infrastructure backbone of this platform ensuring it is resilient secure and optimised for performance and cost.

This role is critical to PHIs ambition to be a Tech-first organisation delivering best-in-class infrastructure capabilities from Day 1.

Job Description

• Lead the design and implementation of PHIs infrastructure architecture across GCP ensuring modularity scalability and security.
• Own the provisioning of infrastructure usingTerraformandInfra-as-Codeprinciples.
• Manage container orchestration usingGKE and ensure secure deployment pipelines viaGitHub Actions.
• Implement and maintainHashiCorp Vaultfor secrets managementCyberArkfor privileged access andAzure ADfor identity and access control.
• Ensure infrastructure is compliant with Prudential Groups security standards includingDLPencryption andendpoint protection.
• Drive performance tuning capacity planning and cost optimisation across all infrastructure layers.
• Collaborate with application data and security teams to ensure seamless integration and operational readiness.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
• Maintain high availability and disaster recovery readiness across environments.
• Implement automated monitoring alerting and remediation using tools likePrometheusGrafana andSplunk.
• Ensure infrastructure supports real-time integrations omnichannel engagement and modular product configurations.

Who We Are Looking For

Technical Skills & Work Experience

• Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent; certifications in GCP Kubernetes or SRE are a plus.
• 1018 years of experience in infrastructure engineering with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Deep expertise inGCPKubernetesTerraformGitHub Actions andCI/CD.
• Strong understanding ofSQL and NoSQL databases including BigQuery PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience withnetworkingfirewall rulesload balancers andreverse proxies(e.g. Apigee).
• Familiarity withCheckmarxfor SAST DAST and SCA integration in pipelines.
• Proven track record in managing infrastructure for high-availability low-latency systems.
