Position: Lead – Finance
Location :Cochin
Experience: 5 years of experience in a senior finance role Proven experience in UK accounting VAT and HMRC compliance Hands-on experience with Xero software is mandatory
Qualification: CA / ACCA / MBA in Finance
CTC: 10LPA
Job Profile : Lead – Finance to manage group-level financial operations with a key focus on UK accounting standards VAT compliance and Xero software. This role requires working closely with our UK finance team and operating in UK time.
Key Responsibilities:
.
Manage end-to-end financial operations across UK and Indian group companies.
.
Prepare and file UK VAT returns ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.
.
Maintain accurate and timely financial records using Xero accounting software.
.
Generate monthly quarterly and annual financial statements per UK GAAP.
.
Support intercompany billing reconciliations and currency adjustments.
.
Lead budgeting cash flow forecasts and financial planning.
.
Coordinate with UK auditors tax advisors and financial institutions.
.
Handle payroll PAYE submissions and statutory filings for the UK.
.
Identify and implement financial process improvements.
.
Supervise and support junior finance staff based in India.
Requirements:

Comfortable working in UK business hours 2.30 PM to 11.30 AM
.
Strong understanding of UK taxation including VAT PAYE and Corporation Tax.
