Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of the role is to strategize direct and oversee the overall
business operations of Tamil Nadu as a Strategic Business Unit
Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall business operations of Tamil Nadu region as a Strategic
Business Unit
Establish current and long term strategies and plans in alignment with the
organizations overall objective
Be the custodian of overall P & L management and ensure organizational
profitability.
Plan advise and direct the operations of dealerships and service centres
and ensure desired business outcomes
Oversee the adequacy and soundness of the financial structure of the SBU
Reviews the operating results of SBU compares them to established
objectives and takes steps to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to
correct unsatisfactory results.
Represent the region with major customers business associates and other
stake holders
Developing and fostering relationship with Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL)
Fostering effective collaboration among various functions that enhances
the overall efficiency of the SBU
Responsible for the overall asset management of the region
Responsible for setting and delivery of sales and after sales goals
Develop various people strategies with HR Business partner and drive a
culture of operational excellence
Desired Competencies
Ability to build high performing teams
Excellent business networking and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with modern business practices and digital orientation
Entrepreneurial mind-set
Ability to drive innovation driving change and execution excellence
Familiarity with Automobile industry will be an added advantage
Desired Profile:
Education: Graduation & MBA or or equivalent post-graduation from a
leading business school /university is preferred.
Age: 42 – 48 years
Experience: Overall experience around 20 years in any industry with minimum 5
years’ experience in similar leading roles with large organisations.
