Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
Oversee day-to-day operations of bottled and sachet water production lines.
Ensure efficient and timely production meeting daily weekly and monthly output targets.
Manage water treatment systems filtration bottling/sachet filling capping/sealing and packaging operations.
Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance
Implement and maintain rigorous quality control and hygiene protocols.
Ensure compliance with NAFDAC SON ISO and other statutory regulations.
Coordinate periodic lab testing for microbial physical and chemical water parameters.
Plant Maintenance & Utilities
Supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery and utilities (blowers compressors UV treatment RO systems etc.).
People & Performance Management
Lead and supervise production supervisors technicians machine operators and other support staff.
Monitor employee performance provide training and enforce discipline and safety practices.
Inventory & Cost Control
Manage raw materials (preforms sachet rolls caps labels chemicals) and packaging materials.
Optimize resource utilization to reduce wastage and cost per unit.
Safety & Hygiene
Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and personal hygiene standards.
Conduct regular safety drills and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with procurement sales logistics and HR departments.
Prepare daily production reports yield analysis and machine utilization reports for top management.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
./. in Mechanical Chemical Industrial Engineering or related field.
Certifications in food safety water treatment or GMP/HACCP preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 810 years in beverage/water production.
At least 35 years in a factory management or plant head role.
Skills & Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of bottled and sachet water production processes.
Familiarity with water treatment (RO UV Ozonation) filling machines and packaging systems.
Strong leadership team coordination and communication skills.
Proficient in using ERP systems and production planning tools.
Sound understanding of NAFDAC SON and ISO 22000 standards.
