We are currently seeking a Factory Senior Leader for our NEW South Boston Virginia manufacturing plant. The role will be located in South Boston Virginia and full relocation offered. The role manages all aspects related to operations of a local manufacturing unit including the full scope ofHealth Safety & EnvironmentProduction Engineering Project Management andProduction Scheduling. Accountable forsafety qualityon time delivery inventory and cost.
Responsibilities:
- Manageoverallmanufacturingoperationsof the organization anda staffinvolved inthe operations of the factoryincluding SEOP process.
- Implements continuous improvement methodologies to increase productivity and reduce costsfollowing the Integrated Transformer Management(ITM)System.
- Provide a safe and healthy environment for compliance with Group healthsafetyand environmental directives and that regulations are implemented whilemonitoringand reporting progress and results. Assesses risks and safety hazards and implements plans to ensure people and equipment safety. Instills in work culture (ITM) philosophy of how we operate
- Develops and executes plans to reduce non-value-addedcosts increase revenue and delight customers by delivering products on time with high factory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates. Ensures thatITM maturity developmenttraining and methods are implemented into the organization.
- Demonstrate unquestionable business ethics and conduct.
- Knowledge Skills Experience:
- Engineering//technical undergraduate degreeMBA Preferred
- Overall16 years of experience with minimum of 7 years leadership experience. Transformer experience preferred.
- Strategic development experience
- Operations experiencein a multi- Focused Factory structure
- Experience leading in a lean management system(or lean operating system or similar)
- Must have US work authorization no sponsorship provided.
