Job Summary

Lower Merion School District is hiring a Music Education Teacher with a focus on Instrumental Music (band/orchestra). This position will work atmultiple elementary schools.

K-12 Music Certification is required.Out-of-state educators should explore PAs reciprocity guidelines set by the PA Department of Education. Pennsylvania Certification information is available at years teaching experience in instrumental music is strongly preferred. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students required.

Good standing relative to Act 48 credits. Child abuse PA State Police and FBI clearances (no less than one year from date of hire)

This is a contract position that will start immediately after filled.

Salary and benefits set by LMEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
