Job Summary

As an Airport Manager for Canberra youll take the lead in delivering safe efficient and customer-focused airport operations. This is not just a day-to-day management role its an opportunity to shape the future of our operations. Youll drive strategic planning lead change initiatives and build a high-performing team culture that thrives in a dynamic environment.
In this pivotal leadership position youll oversee all aspects of airport operations ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards while delivering exceptional service. Youll manage relationships with key stakeholders including airlines ground handlers and external suppliers and lead initiatives that improve performance across safety financial and customer metrics.
Your ability to balance operational demands with long-term strategic priorities will be critical to success. This is your chance to make a real impact: optimising processes fostering engagement and driving continuous improvement in one of Australias most important aviation hubs.
To be successful youll have:
Experience leading airport or complex operations with the ability to plan ahead and keep everything running smoothly.
A background in managing change supporting teams through new ways of working and building engagement along the way.
Strong communication and relationship skills to work effectively with internal teams airlines ground handlers and external partners.
Confidence in making decisions and solving problems in a fast-paced environment.
A solid understanding of safety and compliance requirements.
The ability to coach and develop people while fostering a positive team culture.
Flexibility and resilience to adapt to changing priorities and challenges.
