Key Responsibilities

As the Surgical Medical Device Sales Representative you will support sales activities and product adoption for trauma and joint reconstruction solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

Sales Support and Territory Development

  • Assist in implementing sales strategies to support growth within the assigned territory.
  • Participate in sales calls and meetings with current and prospective customers under the guidance of senior representatives.

Clinical Exposure and Product Knowledge

  • Observe trauma and joint reconstruction procedures in the operating room to build a strong understanding of product applications and surgical workflows.
  • Learn and assist in delivering product education demonstrations and technical support to clinical staff.

Customer Service and Relationship Building

  • Support customer inquiries by coordinating with internal team members to ensure timely and effective resolutions.
  • Build professional relationships with hospital staff surgeons and operating room personnel to support long term business development.

Inventory and Operational Support

  • Assist in managing evaluation sets loaner inventory and demonstration products in alignment with company policies.
  • Support product availability and logistics to ensure seamless execution in clinical environments.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • University degree required with preference for business science kinesiology or health related fields.
  • No previous medical device sales experience required. This position is designed for entry level candidates.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to learn complex clinical and technical product information.

  • Comfort working in clinical settings including hospitals and operating rooms.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for on call responsibilities.
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
