Job Summary
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Manager to join our clients team and lead the accounting and reporting functions for private equity funds. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise in fund accounting and a passion for delivering exceptional client service in a consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations for private equity funds including NAV calculations capital calls distributions and investor allocations.
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other applicable standards.
Manage quarterly and annual reporting processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Liaise with clients auditors and other stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues.
Implement and maintain internal controls and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Supervise and mentor junior team members fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Support special projects including system implementations and process enhancements.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience in fund accounting with a focus on private equity funds.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and private equity fund structures.
Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with fund accounting systems is an asset.
Excellent communication and client management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment and manage multiple priorities.
