About the Role:
As an Aboriginal Health Worker (ASO3) you will deliver a broad range of services using a primary health care approach. Your work will include clinic-based support case management supportive counselling group programs community development initiatives health education mental health promotion and coordinated referrals. You will use your established skills and experience to work collaboratively with consumers carers families and community partners to provide culturally safe and responsive care.
As an Aboriginal Health Worker Trainee (ASO2) you will be supported to develop your skills while contributing to the delivery of a similar range of primary health care services. You will gain experience in clinics client support community programs and health education working under appropriate guidance as you build capability and confidence. This role provides a strong foundation for career growth within Aboriginal health.
