Join us as a Disability Support Worker and be part of something bigger.

What youll do

Youll support NDIS customers living in supported accommodation and engaging in their local community across the southern suburbs including Christies Beach and Oaklands Park. This role is about building genuine respectful relationships and supporting people to live their day in a way that reflects their interests goals and choices.

Youll work alongside customers with a wide range of interests from coffee outings and cooking together to sport gaming arts and crafts and community activities. No two days are the same but each day is grounded in providing safe reliable and person-centred support that helps people build independence confidence and connection.

Youll be part of a supportive team working across a 24/7 roster including passive sleepovers delivering consistent values-based care in both home and community settings.

Youll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:

  • Supporting customers with personal care medication administration and daily routines
  • Assisting customers to build daily living social and community participation skills
  • Supporting customers to attend programs appointments and community outings
  • Preparing meals with customers and supporting household tasks
  • Completing basic administration and documenting supports in line with NDIS requirements

What youll bring

  • A minimum Certificate III in Disability
  • Availability to work a 24/7 roster including passive sleepover shifts (minimum 3 full days availability)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive respectful relationships
  • Experience supporting people living with disability and an understanding of the NDIS environment
  • A current Australian drivers licence minimum P2 license

We would also love you to have:

  • Mental health experience
  • An interest in community activities such as sport gaming cooking or arts and crafts
