About the team and the role

The Senior Manager Teaming leads eBays global teaming strategy shaping how teams collaborate grow and perform. Working within Talent Success this role partners closely with Leadership Development Talent Success Partners People Business Partners (PBPs) and business leaders to deliver integrated scalable solutions that help teams live eBays DNA and operate as high-performing units. You will guide the design delivery and evaluation of teaming experiences that support teams across all stages of their development.

What you will accomplish

  • Lead the strategy continuous improvement and scaling of eBays core teaming offerings to ensure they meet the needs of global and hybrid teams.
  • Translate teaming strategy into practical scalable learning and development experiences that support teams at every stage of their development journey.
  • Strengthen team capabilities and alignment with eBays expectations for high-performing teams through relevant and engaging solutions.
  • Partner with Talent Success colleagues People Business Partners and senior leaders to identify teaming needs and shape initiatives that improve team performance engagement and growth.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of teaming programs using data insights and feedback and maintain accurate program documentation and metrics.
  • Manage budgets and resource allocation for teaming initiatives to ensure efficient sustainable delivery.
  • Build and manage partnerships with external vendors to expand the quality and reach of team development offerings.
  • Champion a culture of teaming and continuous learning by developing communication and engagement strategies that increase awareness and participation.
  • Stay informed about industry trends standards and emerging technologies in learning and team development.
  • Share insights and recommendations with leadership to maintain a forward-thinking and competitive teaming and overall Talent Success function.

What you will bring

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in talent/human resources business administration or a related field.
  • Experience designing building or deploying high-performing team programs or similar learning and development solutions for global or tech-focused teams.
  • Ability to partner effectively with HRBPs/PBPs to deliver integrated people and talent strategies.
  • Track record of creating scalable balanced team development experiences including facilitation and mentoring for senior teams.
  • Strong understanding of teaming and learning theories instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive learning and team development strategies.
  • Strong consulting and project-management skills with experience managing budgets resources and timelines.
  • Inclusive communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to engage senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Data-driven mentality with the ability to analyze metrics and use insights to drive continuous improvement and measurable action.
  • Familiarity with learning/teaming technologies and platforms and a passion for staying updated on industry trends.
