Key Responsibilities

Source and recruit skilled trades production operators engineers and plant management roles.
Conduct thorough interviews to assess technical skills safety consciousness and cultural fit for a manufacturing environment.
Collaborate closely with plant managers and department heads to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting and candidate sourcing to offer extension and pre-onboarding.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing positions.
Utilize various sourcing methods including job boards social media vocational schools and local industry networks.
Ensure compliance with all hiring regulations and company policies including pre-employment screenings relevant to manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

Experience recruiting for technical operational and professional roles within manufacturing environments.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes roles and industry-specific skill requirements (e.g. Lean Six Sigma CAD/CAM).
Proven ability to source screen and assess candidates using various recruitment tools and methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of building strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.

Bonus Qualifications

Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in a second language relevant to the local manufacturing workforce (e.g. Spanish).
Experience with employer branding or talent attraction campaigns.
Familiarity with specific manufacturing industry sectors (e.g. aerospace automotive food processing).
