The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Charlotte that are seeking skilled Quality Managers. Key Responsibilities

Develop implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards (e.g. ISO 9001).
Lead internal and external quality audits including supplier audits and manage non-conformance and corrective action processes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality process efficiency and reduce defects.
Oversee all product inspection testing and quality control activities throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Provide training and guidance to manufacturing teams on quality procedures standards and best practices.
Monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) analyze data and report on quality metrics to management.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and customer quality specifications.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering manufacturing or a related technical field.
5 years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
In-depth knowledge and practical experience with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems.
Proficiency in quality methodologies and tools (e.g. Six Sigma Lean SPC FMEA Root Cause Analysis).
Demonstrated ability to lead mentor and develop quality teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Lead Auditor certification
Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP)
Experience implementing or maintaining industry-specific quality standards (e.g. AS9100 IATF 16949 ISO 13485)
