Key Responsibilities
- Develop implement and maintain quality control procedures and systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Perform internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends drive continuous improvement and report performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to integrate quality into new product development and manufacturing processes.
- Manage supplier quality including qualification performance monitoring and issue resolution.
- Ensure products and processes comply with relevant industry standards regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA SPC MSA Root Cause Analysis and CAPA.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems (e.g. IATF 16949 AS9100).
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings specifications and GD&T.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and statistical skills.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) credential.
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP).
- Experience with specific industry quality standards (e.g. IATF 16949 ISO 13485 AS9100).
