Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost quality and delivery performance.
Source evaluate and qualify new suppliers; manage ongoing supplier relationships and performance.

Oversee the procurement of raw materials components and MRO items essential for manufacturing operations.
Collaborate with production and inventory teams to ensure timely material availability and minimize stockouts.
Implement cost-reduction initiatives and conduct regular market analysis to identify savings opportunities.
Ensure compliance with company policies industry regulations and quality standards for all purchased goods.

Recommended Qualifications

5 years of progressive experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated strong negotiation and vendor management skills with a track record of cost savings.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and proficiency with ERP systems.
Proven ability to lead a purchasing team and develop strategic procurement initiatives.
Understanding of manufacturing processes materials and quality standards relevant to the industry.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Proficiency with advanced data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) for spend analysis and forecasting.
Experience with international logistics and import/export compliance.
Familiarity with contract law and intellectual property rights in procurement.
