Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for raw materials components and MRO items.
Negotiate contracts pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimize value.
Manage supplier relationships performance and compliance with quality and delivery standards.
Collaborate with production and planning to optimize inventory levels and ensure material availability.
Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives through value analysis and alternative sourcing.
Mitigate supply chain risks related to lead times quality and supplier stability.
Lead mentor and develop the purchasing team to enhance departmental effectiveness.

Recommended Qualifications

5-7 years of progressive experience in purchasing or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field.
Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing vendor negotiation and contract management.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytical tools.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes materials planning and quality standards.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Proficiency with advanced data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) for spend analysis and market insights
Experience with international sourcing and global supply chain management
