Key Responsibilities

Define project scope objectives and deliverables for manufacturing initiatives.
Develop and manage detailed project plans timelines and resource allocation for production projects.
Monitor and control project budgets ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial targets.
Identify assess and mitigate risks associated with manufacturing processes supply chain and production schedules.
Lead cross-functional teams including engineering production and quality assurance to achieve project goals.
Ensure compliance with industry standards safety regulations and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate effective communication and reporting to stakeholders including senior management and external vendors.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience managing projects from initiation to closure within a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes supply chain and quality control principles.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g. Waterfall Agile Lean) and project management software.
Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets schedules and resource allocation effectively.
Experience leading and motivating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Proficiency with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle)
Familiarity with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD)
Experience implementing Agile methodologies in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of specific industry quality standards (e.g. ISO 9001 AS9100)
