Key Responsibilities

Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency cost reduction and quality improvement.
Design develop and implement new manufacturing processes equipment and production methods.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues impacting production yield quality and uptime.
Create and maintain detailed process documentation standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow diagrams.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
Evaluate select and qualify new manufacturing equipment and technologies.
Monitor key process indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure performance targets are met.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Mechanical Industrial or a related Engineering discipline.
3 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience with process optimization methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including data analysis and root cause analysis.
Familiarity with process control systems (DCS/SCADA) and/or simulation software.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Proficiency with statistical software (e.g. Minitab JMP) or programming languages (e.g. Python R) for advanced data analysis
Experience with simulation software or advanced process modeling tools
Hands-on experience with manufacturing automation robotics or IIoT technologies
PMP or other formal project management certification
