Key Responsibilities

Direct and oversee all daily plant operations to ensure production targets are met efficiently and safely.
Develop and implement strategic production plans budgets and operational policies.
Manage mentor and develop plant staff fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Ensure product quality standards are consistently met and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) to optimize processes and reduce costs.
Oversee plant maintenance and ensure optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
Manage plant budget optimize resource allocation and achieve financial objectives.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven leadership and management experience in a manufacturing plant environment.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated experience with P&L management budgeting and cost control.
Expertise in safety regulations quality management systems (e.g. ISO) and compliance.
Ability to lead mentor and develop a diverse team towards operational excellence.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
MBA or Master's degree in a related engineering or business field
Experience managing operations in a unionized manufacturing environment
Proficiency with enterprise-level ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
