Salary Range: $56000 - $83000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise dimensional measurements on manufactured parts tools and assemblies.
- Calibrate maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of metrology equipment including CMMs vision systems and hand tools.
- Analyze measurement data identify trends and generate detailed reports for quality control and engineering teams.
- Develop document and validate measurement procedures and programs.
- Ensure all metrology activities comply with internal quality standards and external regulations (e.g. ISO 17025).
- Manage and maintain accurate calibration schedules and records for all measurement tools.
- Provide technical support and training on metrology principles and equipment usage to production staff.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating and calibrating precision measurement equipment (e.g. CMMs optical comparators calipers micrometers).
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and blueprint interpretation.
- Technical degree or certification in metrology quality assurance or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or metrology laboratory setting.
- Ability to analyze measurement data troubleshoot discrepancies and generate detailed inspection reports.
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g. PC-DMIS Calypso MCOSMOS).
- Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP) for process capability studies.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) for model interpretation and fixture design.
