The Maintenance Technician provides technical support for electrical and engineering challenges within a manufacturing environment. This role involves performing preventative maintenance assembling and repairing electrical systems and collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.

Position Type: Full-Time/Non-Exempt
Pay Range: $25-30 per hour (depending on skills and experience)
Work Location: Onsite - Mooresville North Carolina 28115
Shift: 2 (1:45 PM - 10:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance for electrical and engineering issues during all phases of construction.
Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes using hand tools and measuring instruments.
Collaborate with engineers to identify and solve developmental problems.
Analyze test information to resolve design-related issues.
Create or modify diagrams and write engineering specifications for experimental electronics.
Install repair modify and upgrade industrial control systems including PLC systems.
Assist in the design evaluation and repair of electrical equipment.
Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
Follow all Safety Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills/Competencies
Manufacturing support
Hand tools
Troubleshooting
Intermediate proficiency in equipment maintenance monitoring and repair
Process documentation
Strong manual dexterity and ability to lift/move heavy objects.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and interpret work instructions accurately.
Qualifications
2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Proficiency in handling complex issues and problems
Comprehensive working knowledge of subject matter
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
Required to stand for extended periods.
Must be able to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
Frequent bending and stooping required.
Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.
Must be able to work in noisy environments.
