Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
- Develop and implement tooling fixtures and equipment to support production.
- Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation including SOPs and work instructions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Support the successful introduction of new products into manufacturing.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for cost reduction and quality improvement.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role within a production environment.
- Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing principles Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of process optimization and cost reduction.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) and familiarity with PLM/ERP systems.
- Understanding of various manufacturing processes such as machining assembly automation or fabrication.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Experience with industrial automation robotics or PLC programming
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
