Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment and staffing for production technical and administrative roles.
- Manage employee relations including grievance resolution disciplinary actions and conflict management.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with labor laws and safety regulations.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs including wage structures incentive plans and benefits enrollment.
- Facilitate performance management processes including goal setting performance reviews and talent development.
- Coordinate and deliver training initiatives focused on safety compliance and skills development for the workforce.
- Lead workforce planning and succession initiatives to ensure adequate staffing and talent pipeline for operational needs.
Recommended Qualifications
- Extensive experience as an HR Manager in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition employee relations compensation & benefits and HR compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws including OSHA regulations relevant to manufacturing.
- Proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues and foster a positive productive work environment.
- Strong strategic planning and communication skills capable of aligning HR initiatives with operational goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; HR certification (e.g. SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
- Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
- Multilingual proficiency particularly Spanish
- Experience leading HRIS implementation or major system optimization projects
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing safety culture initiatives
