Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing roles including high-volume staffing and shift scheduling.
• Oversee employee relations including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and grievance procedures for production staff.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures compliant with labor laws and specific to manufacturing operations.
• Lead performance management processes including goal setting reviews and development plans for factory personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health safety and environmental regulations (e.g. OSHA) within the manufacturing facility.
• Coordinate and deliver training programs focusing on safety compliance and skills development for the production workforce.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs ensuring competitiveness and equity for manufacturing employees.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist within a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of labor laws safety regulations (e.g. OSHA) and compliance requirements relevant to manufacturing operations.
• Strong expertise in employee relations conflict resolution and fostering a positive and productive work environment for a diverse workforce.
• Demonstrated ability to manage talent acquisition development and retention strategies for production and skilled trades roles.
• Experience with performance management systems compensation benefits administration and HRIS platforms.
• Ability to strategically partner with plant leadership to drive organizational goals and enhance workforce productivity.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with labor relations or unionized environments
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
• Knowledge of EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) regulations and best practices specific to manufacturing
• Experience in workforce planning and scheduling for multi-shift production environments
