The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Analyze manufacturing costs production variances and inventory levels.
Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting forecasting and long-range planning.
Prepare detailed financial reports and performance dashboards for operational stakeholders.
Conduct variance analysis to explain deviations from budget and prior periods for manufacturing operations.
Evaluate capital expenditure requests including ROI and payback period calculations.

Recommended Qualifications

Strong proficiency in financial modeling forecasting and variance analysis.
Demonstrated experience with cost accounting principles and practices in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Understanding of manufacturing operations supply chain dynamics and inventory management.
Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for operational improvements.

Bonus Qualifications

Strong understanding of cost accounting principles in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with major ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) specifically related to manufacturing modules.
Familiarity with supply chain operations and their financial implications.
Exposure to Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
