Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Process payroll including calculation of wages deductions and submission of payroll taxes.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures including journal entries and ledger adjustments.
• Track and reconcile inventory movements including raw materials WIP and finished goods specific to manufacturing operations.
• Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements for management review.
• Support costing activities by tracking production expenses and contributing to COGS calculations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks NetSuite Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and core bookkeeping functions (AP AR GL bank reconciliation).
• Experience with inventory accounting cost of goods sold (COGS) and manufacturing-specific transaction processing.
• Ability to prepare financial statements and assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with inventory accounting and valuation methods.
• Experience with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite).
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles (e.g. job costing standard costing).
• Proficiency in advanced Excel for financial data analysis and reporting.
