The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
Program and configure PLCs HMIs SCADA systems and industrial robots.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated equipment and control systems.
Optimize existing automation systems for improved efficiency quality and throughput.
Collaborate with production maintenance and engineering teams on automation projects.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation systems and procedures.
Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

Expertise in PLC programming (e.g. Rockwell Siemens) and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in HMI/SCADA system design development and integration.
Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g. EtherNet/IP Profinet Modbus TCP/IP).
Experience with industrial robotics motion control systems or servo drives.
Knowledge of industrial sensors actuators and instrumentation.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex automation system issues in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with advanced robotics machine vision or complex material handling systems.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to integrate operational technology (OT) data with enterprise IT systems or cloud platforms.
Certification or experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity best practices.
