Key Responsibilities

Design develop and implement automation solutions (e.g. PLC HMI SCADA robotics) for manufacturing processes.
Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces) and industrial robots.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation system issues including hardware software and network failures.
Optimize existing automation processes to improve efficiency reduce downtime and enhance product quality.
Collaborate with production maintenance and engineering teams to define requirements and integrate new technologies.
Conduct FAT/SAT (Factory/Site Acceptance Testing) and commission new automation equipment and systems.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including electrical schematics software code and user manuals.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Rockwell Automation Siemens) HMI development and industrial robotics.
Demonstrated experience with the design implementation and troubleshooting of industrial control systems.
Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP Profinet) and SCADA/MES integration.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Automation Engineering Mechatronics or a related technical field.
Proven ability to analyze complex automation issues and implement effective solutions in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or ERP integration.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python) for data analysis reporting or advanced automation tasks.
Hands-on experience with industrial vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence) for quality control or guidance.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS IoT Azure IoT) for OT data integration.
