Key Responsibilities

Design develop and implement industrial automation solutions (PLCs HMIs SCADA robotics).
Program configure and commission Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) and robotic systems.
Troubleshoot diagnose and resolve complex issues with automated production equipment and control systems.
Collaborate with production maintenance and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and improve processes.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation systems including schematics code and operational procedures.
Perform routine maintenance calibration and upgrades on existing automation infrastructure.
Research and evaluate new automation technologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Rockwell Siemens) and HMI/SCADA development.
Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB).
Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP Profinet Modbus TCP/IP).
Proven ability to troubleshoot diagnose and repair complex automation systems.
Familiarity with industrial safety standards (e.g. OSHA ISO 13849) and machine safeguarding.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence).
Proficiency in integrating automation systems with manufacturing execution systems (MES) or SQL databases.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure IoT AWS IoT Core) for industrial data collection and analytics.
Experience with CAD software for electrical control panel design (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical EPLAN).
Knowledge of functional safety standards and their application (e.g. ISO 13849 IEC 62061 SISTEMA).
