Key Responsibilities

Design develop and implement industrial automation solutions including PLCs HMIs and SCADA systems.
Program and configure Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for manufacturing processes.
Integrate and program robotic systems machine vision and other advanced automation technologies.
Troubleshoot diagnose and resolve issues with existing automation equipment and control systems.
Develop and maintain technical documentation including schematics wiring diagrams and software specifications.
Collaborate with production maintenance and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and improve process efficiency.
Implement data acquisition and reporting systems to monitor process performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Siemens Rockwell Allen-Bradley) and SCADA/HMI development.
Experience with industrial robotics integration and programming (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB).
Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP Profinet Modbus TCP/IP) and data acquisition.
Ability to design implement and troubleshoot machine vision systems for quality control and guidance.
Solid knowledge of industrial sensors actuators and motion control systems.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with advanced vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence) or collaborative robotics.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) or SQL for manufacturing data analysis.
Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration.
Exposure to Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platforms or cloud-based automation solutions.
