Position Summary The Lot Attendant team member plays an essential role in maintaining the appearance organization and cleanliness of our vehicle inventory. This position supports the sales department by preparing vehicles for display or customer delivery and ensuring the lot is clean orderly and safe. Key Responsibilities - Maintain the appearance of the dealership lot including organizing inventory and ensuring all vehicles are properly lined up and tagged.
- Move vehicles to and from service detail the body shop or customer delivery areas.
- Inspect incoming new and used vehicles and report any damage or concerns.
- Assist with prepping vehicles for sale including basic cleaning fueling and checking fluid levels.
- Keep the lot display areas and entrances clean and free of debris.
- Install dealer plates window stickers and addendum labels as needed.
- Support the sales team with vehicle positioning for photos customer test drives and display setups.
- Ensure safe operation of all vehicles and comply with dealership safety standards at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support dealership operations.
Qualifications - Valid Michigan drivers license with a clean driving record required.
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions preferred (training provided if needed).
- Reliable punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand walk and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods.
Schedule & Compensation - Full-time 40 hours per week
- $17 per hour
