Job Description:

*** This is a 12 months contract opportunity***

Schedule: Monday to Friday- 7h00 AM to 4h00PM - in office

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast paced dynamic team environment providing support to our Business areas. Successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Canadian Document Services team in a production process to ensure service standards are met daily.

What will you do:

• Daily mail deliveries;

• Processing of Canada Post mail and Courier mail via Purolator;

• Sorting of internal system generated output;

• Accountable for quality of material processed;

• Accountable for understanding the end-to-end processes for Canadian Document Services;

• Responsible for communicating change that could lead to positive process enhancements;

• Maintain professional positive attitude within all areas of Sun Life Financial;

• Recognizing what needs to be done to meet customer and business needs;

What do you need to succeed:

• Bilingualism (French English both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada and worldwide;

• Complete all work with a high attention to detail and accuracy;

• Focus on Customer Service;

• Problem solving skills;

• Computer knowledgeable;

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment;

Unique requirements:

• Limited vacation during peak seasons;

• Ability to lift items weighing 50 to 75 lbs;

• Ability to work overtime with minimal notice when volumes dictate;

• May required to go at De Gaspé location

• Must be able to obtain Reliability Status through the Government of Canada before a start date can be confirmed (includes a background check with fingerprinting by the RCMP)

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other addition to Base Pay eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
