Job Summary


We would like to provide our internal workforce the opportunity to express their interest in the role of EAMS Business Analyst.

This role will report to Jason Grech and work closely with the Built Infrastructure Portfolio.

This is a Full-Time Max-Term opportunity for up to 8 months EA Grade 9opportunity.

The Role:

  • Contribute and support the development of the application roadmap working closely with stakeholders to define the application visions strategic priorities milestones and feature enhancements.
  • Provide advice support and guidance on the assessment and use of software applications and associated information technology relevant to WaterNSW business stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the successful implementation of system set up requirements that accurately reflect the operational needs of the business. Achieved by working in close collaboration with the business to understand the underlying problems they aim to solve then effectively translating product requirements to Digital Squads and/or external development team leading to successful delivery of requests enhancement and bug fixes.
  • Analyse develop and maintain systems and processes for the quality assurance of asset data and to ensure raw data is reviewed quality assured and modified when required to maintain the quality and reliability of data and information.
  • Develop and administer automation and/or bulk tools and processes for the capture and entering of data into the systems in the most efficient way possible.

What we are looking for:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in business and data analysis in Enterprise systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of asset planning or maintenance scheduling application
  • Strong ability to use computer-based software tools to carry out work tasks e.g. Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint database query tools and an intermediate capability to use Standard Query Language (SQL)
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Enterprise Asset Management and Asset Maintenance systems (eg. Maximo
    SAP Infor Oracle WAC)
  • Strong Data and Business Analysis including reporting and data base management with demonstrated problem solving business and data management skills including analysing business processes and matching software functionality to improve process efficiency
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
