Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and motivated team manager to support the smooth delivery of financial aid this role you will supervise day-to-day operations guide a small team and help implement process improvements that make a real difference to our students. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy managing people and operations solving problems and contributing to service excellence.

What You Will Do

Operational & Service Excellence

  • Oversee daily financial aid operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of applications.

  • Support the administration of scholarships bursaries and financial aid schemes.

  • Ensure compliance with policies procedures data protection and audit requirements.

Team Supervision & Coaching

  • Provide guidance on-the-job training and support to financial aid staff.

  • Foster a positive customer-focused culture within the team.

  • Manage escalated cases professionally and work towards effective resolutions.

Process & Service Improvements

  • Review existing processes and suggest practical enhancements to improve efficiency and student experience.

  • Assist in updating SOPs and supporting system improvements or testing activities.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the financial aid function.

Stakeholder Support & Communication

  • Communicate clearly with students faculty internal departments and external partners.

  • Help stakeholders understand financial aid policies requirements and processes.

  • Provide timely updates and ensure consistent service standards.

Data & Reporting

  • Compile and review operational data to identify trends or issues.

  • Prepare routine reports and support data-driven decision-making.

  • Highlight areas for improvement based on findings.

Change Support

  • Help operationalise new policies procedures or system changes.

  • Support communication efforts and basic training for staff when changes are introduced.

What You Bring

  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in any discipline.

  • At least 2 years of supervisory or team-leading experience in financial aid student services administration or relevant fields.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Meticulous organised and able to manage multiple tasks.

  • Experience in process improvement or service enhancement.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with data analysis is a plus.

  • A customer-centric mindset and willingness to grow in leadership responsibilities.
