The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organised Project Coordinator to join our team in Auckland reporting to the Project Manager . This role plays a key part in coordinating and integrating activities across multiple functional lines to meet SLAs and KPIs ensuring our delivery teams can operate safely efficiently and with excellence.

Youll work closely with Build Coordinators Project Managers Field teams suppliers and client representativessupporting day-to-day job management documentation scheduling and issue resolution. This role is essential to keeping our projects moving and ensuring positive outcomes for our customers and Downer NZ.

What youll do

  • Coordinate and progress assigned jobs ensuring all documentation access CRs and system updates are completed accurately and on time.
  • Support day-to-day operational delivery including job tracking variations and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage risks jeopardy and rescheduling needs to keep work on track and within scope.
  • Ensure accurate cost capture revenue recognition and adherence to Downer financial processes.
  • Provide clear timely updates escalating issues as needed to the Project Manager or PMO.
