Role: Audit Manager
Location: York
Salary: 55000 to 65000

Responsibilities of the Audit Manager Job include:
Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion
Oversee a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors ensuring high quality service delivery
Review audit files working papers and final accounts prepared by the team
Support mentor and develop junior and part qualified auditors
Attend client meetings provide updates and offer commercially focused advice
Work closely with partners to identify opportunities to enhance or expand services
Ensure compliance with audit standards and internal quality procedures
Requirements of the Audit Manager Job include:
UK practice experience is essential
Qualified ACA or ACCA
Strong technical knowledge of audit standards and financial reporting
Confident leading audits and managing client relationships
Ability to supervise teams and provide clear guidance and review points
Proactive organised and able to manage multiple assignments
