Job Summary
CEDA is looking to hire a Fabrication Manager for the Bonnyville shop. This role will oversee both the fabrication and structural shops. Candidates must be local to the Bonnyville area or willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the fabrication and structural workshops ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and driving continuous improvement.
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure all operations comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify new business opportunities prepare cost estimates proposals and project bids to expand the companys capabilities.
- Mentor and develop supervisors and tradespeople to build a motivated high-performing team.
- Oversee project execution including planning scheduling and resource allocation to meet project goals on safety budget and schedule.
- Work closely with internal teams like Maintenance HSE Supply Chain and Finance to ensure seamless operations and successful project delivery.
- Monitor and control financial performance including forecasting and cost management to ensure profitability.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in mechanical and electrical services within the oil & gas industry.
- 35 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity with strong leadership competencies and a record of successful job bidding and contract acquisition.
- Strong technical knowledge in fabrication and structural services.
- Journeyman trade certification (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
